During cherry blossom season, Sofi and Rami and I were all in Philadelphia, so we met up to take some portraits in this cherry blossom orchard. They are strong and have a good stamina to be able to do so many stunts in a row over and over and over for these photos and I liked the way they turned out. Here are a few.
This was my first time really shooting dancers. Dancing is usually an indoor activity for late at night and mainly I prioritize natural light for photography and also I try to enjoy dancing for dancing or DJing and keep a little bit of separation between my work as a photographer and my art of dance. However, I did find it interesting the way I was saying the counts in my head as they repeated moves so that I was ready to capture the exact moment of air that we were envisioning.
These two are talented, creative, and most importantly, hard working. They're often on the go teaching around the world so make sure to check them out on instagram and give them a little search on youtube to be absolutely awed.
